Producing a setpoint controller wasn't enough for us; we demanded a stable power supply system, fault tolerance and redundancy as well as a full feature set. That is why the Deep Pursuit has proprietary firmware not available to any other system.
Selecting components that exceed the performance of any other is not enough, we need to be doubly or triple sure that you have the necessary tools to be safe regardless of the circumstances that you encounter. That is why you get double redundant PO2 monitoring with true independence as standard, apart from the oxygen cells, no independent system shares resources with any other.
The 'Deep Pursuit' comes in four forms, the ‘Deep Pursuit’, ‘Expedition’, ‘Expedition+’ and the 'Altus'. All models have setpoint controller, full trimix on-line decompression, and a HUD as standard. The Expedition and Altus models benefit from triple redundancy as the two handsets and the HUD are truly independent. The primary handset runs setpoint control and gives 'real time' decompression, the HUD gives real time PO2 and the second handset mirrors the primary in all aspects except solenoid control.
And just to make sure that we have all the bases covered, and to give you a choice, every Pursuit system is fitted with a fourth cell holder as standard so supplementary electronics can be fitted.

Design principles
The Deep Pursuit was designed and built to exceed the requirements of the most demanding rebreather diver.
Below is list of only some of the features we have built in to the Deep Pursuit rebreather control system. Producing a setpoint controller wasn't enough for us; we demanded a stable power supply system, fault tolerance and redundancy as well as a full feature set.
Features
- Buhlmann algorithm with user configurable gradient factor conservatism
- Truly separate power supplies for the controller handset, HUD and solenoid
- Automatic switch-on by depth and/or pressure
- Adaptive PID setpoint control with user configurable algorithm
- User serviceable wiring loom
- ‘Single moving part’ failure tolerant and user serviceable solenoid that was designed for oxygen service
- Automatic ambient light sensing LCD illumination
- Built in 4th cell holder
- Fully independent HUD with three cell real time and simultaneous PO2 indication
- Total control automatic calibration system
- Configurable automatic or manual setpoint changeover
- Set point is controlled and sensors displayed while in menus
- The Deep Pursuit handset crush depth exceeds 185 meters, head has no limit

OPTIONS
The 'Deep Pursuit' comes in a few forms, the standard Deep Pursuit, Deep Pursuit with additional handset cable, The Deep Pursuit Expedition and the Expedition+.
Note - Oxygen cells are not included in any package.
Option 1
The Deep Pursuit has setpoint controller, full trimix on-line decompression, and a HUD
Option 2
The Deep Pursuit has setpoint controller, full trimix on-line decompression, and a HUD and is also fitted with a cable for fitting your own secondary handset. The cable incorporates full isolation circuitry.
Option 3
The Deep Pursuit Expedition has setpoint controller, full trimix on-line decompression, and a HUD and is also fitted with a secondary handset that incorporates full isolation circuitry. The secondary handset displays depth, time and PO2 from all three cells (DSP).
Option 4
The Deep Pursuit Expedition+ has setpoint controller, full trimix on-line decompression, and a HUD and is also fitted with a secondary handset that incorporates full isolation circuitry. The secondary handset has full trimix decompression and PO2 from all three cells (SPOCTE).
